Child Safety Link is an IWK Health program that’s committed to reducing the rate and severity of unintentional injuries to children and youth in the Maritimes. We want our communities to be safe places where our kids can grow to reach their full potential.

How our work helps
We offer parents and caregivers information and resources on how they can help prevent their babies, kids, and teens from being injured. We work with community organizations, governments, and other partners to ensure that children are as safe as necessary at home, on the road, and at play. We're dedicated to capacity building and partnerships, communication and public relations, advocacy and healthy public policy, and research and evaluation.
Our resources
Child Safety Link is a reliable Canadian source for a wide variety of children’s injury prevention issues. The information we offer is evidence-based, and specific to the statistics, laws, and regulations in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Prince Edward Island. If we don’t have the answer, we can usually point you to the expert who does.
