Child Safety Link (CSL) is proud to celebrate its twenty-third birthday on Thursday, November 20, 2025!
Since launching as an injury-prevention program at the IWK more than two decades ago, CSL has grown into a trusted leader in children’s injury prevention across Atlantic Canada. Throughout the years, we’ve supported caregivers and families by creating easy-to-use educational resources (often in multiple languages), offering training, providing grants, and partnering with communities to keep children safe.
Today, we’re excited to introduce our newest resource for families: the Multilingual Helmet Safety Video Series, now available on YouTube.
Made in collaboration with local children, these fun and engaging videos teach kids, caregivers, and the whole community how to wear a helmet properly—whether biking, scootering, skateboarding, rollerblading, or enjoying any activity that requires a helmet.
The videos are available in English, French, and Ukrainian, with Arabic and Mandarin versions coming soon.
At CSL, we are committed to making safety information accessible to all families. Offering this video series in five widely spoken languages across Atlantic Canada adds to our efforts in that direction.
